What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parkour / Ninja Coach position at Suncoast Gymnastics Academy?
Ditch the boring desk job. We are looking for an energetic, athletic, and motivating Parkour / Ninja Coach to join the team at Suncoast Gymnastics in Wesley Chapel.
This is an opportunity to get paid to move, inspire the next generation, and work in a high-energy environment. You will be leading children through obstacle courses, teaching them how to jump, climb, and vault safely, and building their confidence. If you have a background in sports, gymnastics, or just love being active, this is the job you’ve been looking for.
Your Schedule
- Weekdays: Afternoons/Evenings (approx. 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Saturdays: Required (8:45 AM – 12:30 PM).
- Note: This is a Part-Time position.
What You Will Do
- Coach & Inspire: Lead energetic Ninja and Parkour classes for kids. You bring the hype; we provide the facility.
- Teach Skills: Teach foundational movements like landing, rolling, vaulting, and wall running.
- Execute the Plan: Follow our proven curriculum to ensure classes are fun and productive. (As you gain experience, you will assist in creating new obstacle courses on Mondays!).
- Safety First: Spot students on equipment and ensure the gym remains a safe hazard-free zone.
- Command the Room: Manage class behavior with positivity and structure.

- Athletic: You have a background in sports, gymnastics, parkour, cheer, or general fitness.
- Reliable: You show up on time, every time, ready to coach.
- Coach/Mentor: You enjoy seeing kids succeed and learn new skills.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (coaching, camp counselor, sports, etc.) is preferred.
- Must be available for the specific shifts listed above (Weekdays Saturdays).
- CPR / First Aid certification is a plus (but not required to apply).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
