What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Generalist position at Suncoast Center?
We are looking for a Human Resource Generalist to support the recruitment hiring process. This position would support the recruiting process fully. Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5pm onsite office based in St Petersburg FL with a 30 minute unpaid lunch/break period.

- All aspects of recruitment and onboarding skills/experience required
- Computer, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience required
- Employment Law and labor regulations related to recruitment/screening/onboarding
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field required
- 5 years of prior experience as an HR Recruiter/Onboarding required
- Sound knowledge of all HR processes (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, training, talent management etc.)
- Experience with resume HRIS system required preferably ADP
- Sound knowledge of full-cycle recruiting
- Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills necessary
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills necessary
- Experience in a Nonprofit environment preferred
Clear Criminal Background Check throughout employment with Suncoast Center and local checks prior to hire and annually along with DCF Level II prior to hire and as required by DCF, and Must have valid Florida Driver’s License Motor Vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment along with reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance. (must be in compliance with Florida Laws and Administrative Codes with fingerprinting and determined to be of good moral character).
