Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience in PICU
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Preferred: CRRT background, APHON certification, experience in a pediatric teaching hospital
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care for critically ill pediatric patients with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including intensivists, respiratory therapists, techs, and case managers
- Perform typical PICU procedures: IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
- Utilize Meditech/CPN electronic health records
- Thrive under pressure and prioritize comprehensive, compassionate patient care
