Travel Operating Room Technician - Tillamook, Oregon

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2 years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Active nursing license in good standing
• Prior experience assisting in operating room procedures and supporting surgical teams
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical equipment, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities, especially in fast-paced environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, sterile drapes, and necessary equipment
• Assist surgical teams before, during, and after procedures, ensuring optimal workflow and patient safety
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere strictly to infection control protocols
• Facilitate instrument counts and support surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
• Monitor inventory and restock OR supplies as needed
