Desired Qualifications:

• Active Licensing in the state of NY
• Two years of experience in radiology, ideally in interventional radiology
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new modalities

Key Responsibilities:

• Select and set exposure factors for radiologic imaging; ensure consistently high diagnostic quality
• Collaborate effectively to resolve departmental issues efficiently
• Display professionalism, compassion, and accountability with patients and colleagues
• Administer oral contrast, and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic exams, assisting Radiologists during procedures
• Operate all x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems proficiently; report equipment issues promptly
• Maintain medication security, assist with departmental duties, and ensure timely completion of procedures
• Demonstrate competency delivering care and communication to patients of all ages
• Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS effectively
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in ongoing process improvements
