Special Ed Teacher - Leominster, Massachusetts

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A special education teaching position is available for a dedicated professional to support 2nd and 3rd grade students. This 32.5-hour per week, five-day role involves working closely with a caseload of 12-15 students to provide tailored educational support in a contract position located in the Worcester, MA area.

Qualifications:

• MA Special Education Teaching license covering grades 2-3
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students in grades 2 and 3
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to maximize learning outcomes
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive education
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings and parent conferences
