School Speech Language Pathologist - Danielson, CT

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Connecticut SLP license
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy to students across the K-12 spectrum
• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote students’ social and academic growth
• Maintain accurate records, document progress, and adjust interventions based on student needs
• Offer support and resources to classroom educators to facilitate effective inclusion
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
