What you'll need:
- Active Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience supporting school-aged children (range: infants to 12th grade)
- Expertise with evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to both on-site and hybrid work models
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to assigned caseloads in school settings
- Conducting evaluations and developing student-centered intervention plans
- Implementing both direct services and consultative support for students, staff, and families
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and fellow specialists to optimize student learning
- Maintaining timely, compliant documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing actively to school-based support teams
