School Speech Language Pathologist - Danielson, Connecticut

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Active SLP license for CT, or eligibility to obtain
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Prior experience in school-based settings preferred, especially with K-12 populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across all grade levels
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
• Provide direct therapeutic services both individually and in small group settings
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and collaborating with families and team members
• Support the integration of communication strategies into classroom settings and curriculum
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
