Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An immediate opportunity awaits a skilled professional experienced in Imaging—CT and CT/PET technology. This contract position requires expertise in advanced diagnostic techniques and state-of-the-art equipment including United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64 slice. Start as soon as possible on a 13-week initial contract.
Schedule/Hours:
- 5 shifts per week
- 8-hour day shifts, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- ARRT(CT) credential (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography)
- Proven experience operating United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64 slice equipment
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic CT and PET scans according to physician orders and established protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot United 550 and Siemens Sensation 64 slice scanners
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
- Prepare and position patients for accurate image acquisition
- Review, assess, and transmit images to radiologists for interpretation
- Maintain accurate and concise patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control policies and uphold all safety regulations
