School Occupational Therapist - Springfield, Vermont

An exciting opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist interested in supporting K-12 students across a district near Springfield, VT. This contract position involves working across four school buildings, providing services throughout the district. The role is full-time, with 35-37.5 hours per week, and is set to begin August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Vermont Occupational Therapist Certificate required
• Experience servicing pediatric or school-based populations, ideally K-12
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
• Commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services district-wide to students in grades K-12
• Assess student needs and develop individualized intervention plans
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and relevant paperwork in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consult with educational teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Support students’ development of functional skills to enhance academic participation and independence
• Travel between four buildings within the district as part of regular responsibilities
