Key Qualifications:
- Valid Nebraska state license as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience or strong knowledge of K-12 educational settings preferred
- Ability to serve collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams (Intervention, Safety, Building, or District Crisis Teams)
- Skilled in identifying students with educational disabilities and recommending appropriate interventions
- Strong communication abilities to consult with educators, staff, parents, and students
- Comfortable providing individual or group school-based counseling as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students who may require Special Education services
- Participate as a valued member of various school and district teams to support student well-being and academic progress
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and academic intervention strategies
- Serve as a resource for staff, parents, and students on a range of educational and mental health topics
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling when situations arise
