This full-time contract role offers Speech-Language Pathology professionals the chance to work onsite with PreK students (ages 3-5) as part of an itinerant team in a school-based environment near New Orleans, LA. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, to May 20, 2027, with 37.5 hours per week guaranteed.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Louisiana and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in early childhood/PreK settings
- Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment protocols for young learners
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to travel onsite as an itinerant provider between multiple locations within the district
- Comfort with maintaining thorough, compliant documentation and progress reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for PreK students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services in a school setting, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as required
