About the Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district near Norway, Maine. This full-time, school-based position focuses on providing speech and language services to Pre-K students, helping young learners build the communication skills needed for academic and social success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for preschool-aged students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals.
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and therapy records.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Maine SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
- Maine Department of Education certification (or ability to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with preschool or early childhood populations is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
