You will utilize advanced equipment and technology to deliver radiation therapy to approximately 64-68 patients daily, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Independently administer radiation treatments using linear accelerators, including Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE systems.Accurately manage patient schedules and treatment plans, verifying protocols through ARIA record and verify software.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and treatment progress.Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with safety standards and procedures.Adapt to system upgrades, including an upcoming ARIA software update to version 18.1.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in mid to large hospital settings.Proficient in operating Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE linear accelerators.Familiarity with ARIA record and verify software, including new updates.Strong multitasking abilities and capability to work independently.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Schedule/Hours:Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM shifts.No weekends or on-call duties.Location:Belvidere, Illinois offers a welcoming community atmosphere with a blend of small-town charm and access to urban amenities.
