A healthcare facility in Belvidere, Illinois is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to manage treatment plans and deliver high-quality patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in a dynamic cancer center with a mid to large hospital environment, supporting approximately 64-68 patients per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate two advanced linear accelerators (Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE) to provide precise radiation therapy treatments.
• Use ARIA record and verify system, transitioning to version 18.1, to document and monitor patient progress.
• Manage multiple treatment sessions daily, ensuring safety and accuracy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Adhere to clinic schedules and protocols while maintaining efficient workflow.
  
  

Qualifications And Desired Experience

• Proven experience as a Radiation Therapist in mid to large hospital settings.
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam and Varian EDGE linear accelerators.
• Familiarity with ARIA record and verify systems, including software upgrades.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
