Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Active Kentucky School Psychologist license required
- Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and MTSS/RTI frameworks
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to inform educational and behavioral interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of 504 and special education plans
- Support implementation of school-wide behavior management programs
- Offer professional development and consultative support for staff regarding student needs
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
