Brief Description
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for winning projects and developing strong, long-term, repeat customer relationships through the established sales processes. Working within Sunbelt Solomon’s ERP and CRM platforms, the PM is responsible for the timely, accurate and innovative design, planning and execution of rental quotations while maintaining the highest level of detail at all stages of the process. Despite the title, this is a Sales Position. This role will have a significant number of interactions with our customer via phone, text, email, and video conferences. The PM team is a collaborative team, and each PM team member will be expected to work on projects regardless of the Account or Contact name or location of project.

- Design the Solution: Taking all inbound rental opportunities directly from customers, Outside Sales Reps (OSR), and the Inside Sales and Customer Service Manager, the PM will work with stakeholders, the Sunbelt Solomon team, vendors, and outside technical support where required, and develop the best power rental solution for our customer’s, maximizing Sunbelt Solomon’s equipment utilization where possible.
- Create the Quote: Working with in our ERP system, the PM will build the rental quotation based on equipment availability and system pricing. Ensure legal terms and conditions and special notes, instructions are reflected in quotation to reasonably protect Sunbelt Solomon from liabilities related to the project.
- “Close” the Job": Working closely with the OSR, the PM will set, complete and track tasks in the CRM with the goal of “closing” the job while building or enhancing the relationship the customer has with Sunbelt Solomon. The PM will be responsible to ensure all relevant Lead, Contact, Account and Opportunity information is captured within the CRM.
- Execute the Rental: By communicating through our CRM and ERP, the PM will provide accurate and detailed information to the Project Coordinators (PC) and Shop Rental Technicians, required to get the rental equipment rental ready and on site.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction: Provide support to Customers throughout the project as required including requests for technical specifications, equipment changes and services logistics coordination. Assist Customers with resolving any project related issues.
- Logistics Support: Provide support to the Project Coordinators as required to ensure all orders are filled and all customer requirements are met, which may include assisting with organizing freight and the processing of freight related documentation
- AR Invoicing Support: As required, provide direction to support preparation of outgoing customer invoices and ERP reports to ensure rental and sale invoicing is accurate and timely.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: This role will be well versed in all the other equipment sales and service capabilities of the Sunbelt Solomon group and is expected to promote and cross-sell these options at every opportunity.
- Other duties may be required to support the Sunbelt Solomon Team as required by the Company’s needs.

- Strong technical background including either power technologist or electrical trade certification with a mathematical aptitude
- Understanding of temporary power products and services
- Experience with the SAPB1 ERP (considered an asset)
- Experience working in a CRM (Salesforce experience would be considered an asset)
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Strong computer literacy is essential with intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite of products
- Exceptional telephone manner
- Ability to work collaboratively within the Sales and Operations team
- High degree of professionalism and maturity
- Ability to take direction and accept responsibility
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including working beyond regular hours
- Journeyperson Electrician (considered an asset)
