What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate FP&A and Commissions Analyst position at Sunbelt Solomon?
The Corporate FP&A and Commissions Analyst is responsible for working closely with the Head of FP&A, senior management, and functional leaders to analyze business performance. This role reports to the Manager of FP&A. The Corporate division of Sunbelt Solomon is comprised of all functions for the company, including Sales, Finance, IT, Human Resources, and Marketing. This team member will develop a strong understanding of the business to partner with functional leadership and closely track various sales initiatives across the company. This is an onsite position at our Sharon, PA corporate office.
- Generate consistent and accurate reporting for Corporate activities
- Partner with Functional Leadership to develop & maintain meaningful monthly and quarterly business metrics, reports, and decision support analysis
- Track sales commissions company-wide, including those related to targeted cross-sell initiatives
- Assist in preparation of three-year strategic plan, annual business plan, and periodic (monthly/quarterly) reforecast
- Assist Functional Leadership with ad hoc reporting and requests
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- Two years’ previous experience in financial analysis, accounting, or other data-driven field providing business support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and/or PowerQuery
- Oracle Financial Close and Consolidation experience preferred
- Oracle NetSuite, SAP, Hyperion, or SysPro experience a plus
