Join a growing telecommunications company as a Purchasing Agent! In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the timely procurement of goods, materials, components, and services that support daily business operations. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to manage purchasing activities, negotiate pricing, resolve supply chain issues, and maintain compliance with company procurement policies. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented purchasing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchase orders for approval and suppliers submittal
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery, or invoice issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience using ERP systems to manage procurement plans, activities and actions.
• Experience supporting multiple internal & external customers.
• Fluent in verbal & written English.
• Effective problem solving and strong communication skills as well as the ability to work within a highly collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow through skills.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Power Point, with extensive Excel skills preferred.
• Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably in an electronics OEM environment.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and to able to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and potentially complex written or oral instructions.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaborative drive and interpersonal skills.
• Strong initiative, proactive work ethic and prioritization skills.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.

Pay Range: $38.46–$55.29/hr.
