We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection and processing of specimens, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Conduct laboratory procedures including ELISA, PCR, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and flow cytometry.
- Manage data entry and maintain laboratory information management systems for accurate record-keeping.
- Support clinical trials by preparing samples and conducting assays as required.
- Perform routine laboratory management tasks including equipment maintenance and inventory control.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Analyze data from experiments and assist in the preparation of reports for clinical studies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as immunoassays, blood sampling, venipuncture, and phlebotomy.
- Strong data management skills with experience in data analysis relevant to laboratory settings.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and vital signs assessment.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory experience including blood banking and specimen processing.
- Experience with laboratory procedures related to clinical trials and research environments.
- Ability to operate various laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks effectively.
