Mobile Phlebotomist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the collection of blood samples and other specimens in various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for patients.

Duties

• Perform venipuncture and blood sampling with precision and care.
• Collect, process, and label specimens according to established protocols.
• Maintain aseptic technique during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Conduct vital signs assessments as needed prior to specimen collection.
• Provide exceptional patient service, addressing any concerns or questions during the collection process.
• Document all procedures accurately in compliance with clinical laboratory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient specimen handling and processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile phlebotomy equipment and supplies.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques, including phlebotomy practices.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with a focus on specimen collection and processing.
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
• Ability to perform blood sampling using various techniques while adhering to safety protocols.
• Familiarity with patient care practices and the ability to provide compassionate support during procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.
