Job Description
SumnerOne is seeking a Copier Parts Clerk to handle the inventory, ordering, distribution, and documentation of parts and supplies for photocopiers, multifunction printers (MFPs), and related equipment. This role keeps essential components organized, stocked, and accessible across our service operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory of copier/printer parts; perform cycle counts and organize stock
- Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments and returns
- Place orders with approved vendors and track order status
- Pick, pack, and distribute parts for internal requests
- Update records in inventory and ERP systems; prepare basic usage or stock reports
- Assist with part identification, availability checks, and general inquiries
- Follow safety standards and proper handling procedures for materials like toner
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehousing, or parts coordination (copier/print industry preferred but not required)
- Comfortable using inventory software and Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Customer service experience in a technical or parts-related environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with copier parts and technical terminology
- Experience with ERP or advanced inventory management systems
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass pre-employment screenings
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required to effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders, and to perform the essential functions of this role
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs regularly
