Mechanical Assembly Technician
Location: Roanoke, TX
- Shift: 1st Shift / 6:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Thurs (4/10
- Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00hr
Summit Staffing is hiring for a growing manufacturing company in Roanoke, TX!
We're seeking dependable Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude who enjoy working with hand tools, reading assembly instructions, and building high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret assembly drawings and work instructions
- Install fittings, valves, brackets, tubing, and hardware
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
- Conduct basic testing as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements:
- 1 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Experience using hand and pneumatic tools
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug-Test / Background Check
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
