Job Description:
Summit Skilled Solutions (S3) is a fast-growing skilled trades staffing firm connecting top-tier commercial and industrial contractors with reliable, experienced tradespeople nationwide. We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our national expansion and build long-term client partnerships.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and enjoys developing strategic relationships in construction, manufacturing, and industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with key decision-makers in construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors
- Target traveling contractors, shutdown crews, and project-based organizations requiring skilled labor
- Drive new business through account acquisition and expansion of existing partnerships
- Conduct workforce assessments and recommend customized staffing solutions (temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct hire)
- Utilize a structured consultative sales process to secure Client Service Agreements (CSA)
- Partner with operations to ensure smooth execution and high client satisfaction
- Serve as the primary point of contact through the full sales and delivery cycle
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales, revenue, and profitability targets
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of B2B or consultative sales experience
- Background in construction, industrial, or staffing industries strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship development skills
- Ability to manage complex, long-term partnerships
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
- First-year earning potential: $75,000–$100,000
- Second-year earning potential: $100,000
