We are seeking an experienced and organized Irrigation Operations Manager to lead and oversee our irrigation department. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, supervising Teams, ensuring system efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge of irrigation systems and the ability to manage people, schedules, and resources effectively. This position plays a key role in supporting overall company performance and long-term growth.
Duties
- Oversee day-to-day irrigation operations, including installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems.
- Manage and support irrigation crews through scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
- Diagnose irrigation system issues and provide effective, cost-conscious solutions.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain accurate records related to work orders, inspections, repairs, and system documentation.
- Communicate with clients, project managers, and internal teams regarding schedules, progress, and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, water management best practices, and company policies.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of irrigation systems, troubleshooting, and water management practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing crews and job-site operations.
- Ability to read plans, schedules, and work orders accurately.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for working with team members, leadership, and clients.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions in the field, and lead by example.
- Valid driver's license; irrigation certifications are a plus.
