Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial electrical construction projects, from planning through final closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead client meetings and serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution.
- Partner closely with Superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and contract administration.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support project milestones.
- Monitor labor productivity, project costs, and overall financial performance.
- Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedule or profitability.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, and project partners.
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers while supporting their professional growth.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Project Management experience within commercial electrical construction.
- Proven experience managing commercial electrical projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience with Design-Build, negotiated work, or CMAR delivery methods.
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, mission critical, industrial, manufacturing, or institutional electrical projects.
