About Summit Building Services
Summit Building Services helps commercial properties maintain clean, safe, and professional environments through janitorial, floor care, disinfection, and facility support services. We are growing throughout Northeast Ohio and are seeking a driven Business Development Representative to help expand our client base.
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting and generating qualified sales appointments with commercial decision-makers. This role focuses on outbound calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and lead follow-up to identify opportunities for our sales team.
Success in this role is measured by:
- Qualified appointments scheduled
- New opportunities created
- Revenue generated from new accounts
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $45,000 - $52,000/year
- Total Annual Earning Potential: $100,000
Lead Generation
- Schedule qualified meetings for sales representatives through outbound sales calling
- Research target accounts and commercial properties
- Follow up on marketing and referral leads
- Maintain accurate CRM records
Sales Development
- Conduct discovery conversations
- Identify cleaning and facility service needs
- Present Summit's value proposition
- Support proposal and follow-up efforts
Qualifications
- Previous sales, telemarketing, appointment-setting, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable making outbound calls
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus
- B2B sales experience preferred
