Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and curious Recruiter who is excited to learn the art of sourcing and connecting with talent. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys building relationships, thinking creatively, and taking initiative to find great candidates, not just waiting for them to apply. This position focuses heavily on proactive recruiting and headhunting, with training and support provided.
This position pays $20/hr plus uncapped commission.
Qualifications
- Interest in recruiting, sourcing, or HR (prior experience is a plus, but not required)
- Strong communication skills and confidence reaching out to new people
- Willingness to learn how to find and engage passive candidates
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Comfortable using technology, social media, and learning new systems (ATS experience is a plus)
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work after regular business hours as needed
Responsibilities
- Proactively source and identify candidates using social media, job boards, and professional networks
- Reach out to passive candidates through messaging, email, and other creative outreach methods
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Partner with location Managers to understand open roles and ideal candidate profiles
- Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including job postings and candidate activity
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process via email and text
- Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate next steps in the interview process
- Draft and send offer letters, rejection emails, and other candidate communications
- Reconnect with past applicants and keep them engaged for new opportunities
- Support employee referral efforts and help expand external candidate networks
- Assist with recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach alongside the HR team
- Collaborate with the HR Team on recruiting strategies and process improvements
- Perform other duties as assigned
