Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a trained supply chain manager to extend our hospitality to our guests by ensuring top-quality logistics and supply management on our operations team.  

About the Role:

The Supply Chain Manager will play a critical role in serving our customers by ensuring seamless operations at our stores. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans that optimize the flow of goods and materials, implementing supply chain management systems to carry out those plans, and ensuring that our teams have the necessary resources to deliver on the promise of Summer Moon Hospitality. Ultimately, the Supply Chain Manager will contribute to Summer Moon’s success by ensuring that all supply chain processes are executed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Select and implement a cloud-based supply chain management software system for overall management of all materials, consumables, and goods used at all Summer Moon stores. 
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
• Oversee the procurement of food and beverage supplies, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness for all Summer Moon locations.
• Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
• Maintain inventory management systems and track stock levels and reduce waste and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to inform purchasing decisions and inventory control.
• Collaborate with management to align supply chain operations with menu planning and seasonal offerings.
• Negotiate prices for raw materials and delivery with suppliers and vendors.
• Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments.

• Thorough understanding of food service or hospitality industry and logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in supply chain management in any industry.
• Preference given to experience within the hospitality, coffee, food service or restaurant industries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
