What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Summer Moon Coffee?
Seeking happy baristas that have a heart for people, working on a team, and serving delicious coffee.
Looking to fill part time or full time positions. Weekend availability is required.
Pay starts at $16/hour
Barista experience is not required. We will teach you all you need to know about coffee. We are looking for someone that loves people, is positive, and is excited to work in a busy but fun team environment.

Duties include:
Multi tasking through out the shift to make drinks, take orders, complete cleaning tasks, interact with customers and co-workers in a positive manner.
Summer Moon Coffee is a franchise that originated in Austin, Texas in 2002. Since then, they have continued to grow. Our family joined Summer Moon Coffee in January of 2023 when we opened our first store in Crystal Lake, Illinois. We opened our Wheaton location in March 2026. We are thrilled to have to opportunity to serve the best Oak Roasted Coffee and delicious Moon Milk (our signature sweet cream) to the communities surrounding our stores. We are also thankful for the opportunity to create positive and uplifting work environments for our staff.
