Overview
We are seeking a caring, organized, and collaborative GSRP Lead Teacher to deliver a high quality preschool experience aligned with Michigan’s Great Start Readiness Program. The Lead Teacher creates a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom and partners closely with families and staff.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement daily lessons using approved GSRP curriculum.
- Provide small group, large group, and individualized instruction.
- Complete ongoing child assessments and documentation.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Build strong relationships with families.
- Collaborate with the Associate Teacher and program team.
- Participate in coaching, training, and GSRP compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or related degree with ZA/ZS endorsement or CDA credentials.
- Experience in early childhood preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
