Job Summary
This role leads and develops Direct and Regional Sales Managers, implements sales strategies, and supports the Pulp and Paper market. This position has direct accountability for all PPI sales activities, both direct and indirect, in the USA. This role will necessitate effective collaboration and coordination with operations, procurement, quality, and other relevant departments.
Essential Functions
- Achieve sales growth targets by developing and executing annual sales plans.
- Lead the RSM’s, monitor individual performance against goals, and provide coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Responsible for ownership and personal management of the direct corporate accounts. Develops trust and solid partnerships with Corporate and OEM accounts. Negotiates and manages agreements with both.
- Engages collaboratively with technical associations and partners with leading technical universities.
- Analyze and identify market trends, and the competition to jointly develop strategic plans for expanding sales of new and existing products.
- Travel, as necessary within the assigned territory.
- Must possess superior presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience with multiple direct reports and a proven history of leading teams.
- Superior analytical, strategic thinking, leadership skills.
- Demonstrated success through focus, good judgment, and decision-making.
- Keen sense of teamwork and business goal alignment.
- Well-developed sense of urgency to deliver results.
- Excellent relationship and people skills.
- Network of Regional Sales Managers and Application Specialists covering the PPI market.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar technical degree preferred. MBA is a plus.
- At least 10-15 years’ regional sales experience.
- At least 5 years people management experience.
