HOUSEKEEPER / HOME ORGANIZATION SPECIALIST

Hiring Immediately | Part-Time | $16–$20/hour

We are seeking an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented housekeeper to help maintain a busy home at a consistently high standard.

Current Schedule: Approximately 3 days per week, 3–5 hours per day. The schedule will typically be provided 2–4 weeks in advance, and hours may ebb and flow depending on household needs. Beginning early next year, there may be an opportunity for increased hours and/or additional days for the right person as our needs grow.

Pay: $16–$20 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

This Is Not a Basic Housekeeping Position

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating order, has exceptional attention to detail, and notices the things other people miss.

The right person can walk into a busy or disorganized space, quickly assess what needs attention, prioritize efficiently, and bring order to chaos. The goal is not simply to complete a checklist or make things look tidy. We want someone who leaves the home feeling peaceful, homey, fresh, exceptionally clean, and completely reset.

This is NOT a position for someone whose experience is limited to surface cleaning or basic tidying. We need someone with intense organizational skills and genuinely high-level cleaning abilities who is comfortable handling cleaning of all levels and varieties.

Responsibilities

Duties will vary from day to day and may include:

• Detailed household cleaning with impeccable standards
• Repetitive daily tidying, resetting, and organizing
• Recognizing clutter, disorder, or unfinished details and addressing them without needing every small task pointed out
• Organizing and maintaining closets, cabinets, drawers, household supplies, and frequently used spaces
• Laundry and clothing care — excellent laundry skills are essential. Clothing should be properly washed, treated, dried, folded or hung, and left spot-free and wrinkle-free
• Light food preparation, primarily washing and preparing fresh fruits and vegetables as groceries come into the home
• Occasional very light cooking during your shift, such as preparing a smoothie, sandwich, toast, or bagel when needed
• Restocking household items and keeping commonly used areas organized and supplied
• Occasional errands and shopping
• Carefully following instructions and paying close attention to details when completing errands, shopping, laundry, organization, and other household tasks

You are naturally organized and have an instinct for what needs to be done next. You notice the fingerprints, dust, wrinkles, misplaced items, cluttered drawer, low household supply, or unfinished detail that someone else might walk right past.

You understand the difference between something being picked up and something being truly clean and organized.

You work efficiently and with purpose without sacrificing quality. You can balance several different types of tasks during a shift, follow directions accurately, prioritize effectively, and complete your work within the available time.

Most importantly, you take genuine satisfaction in leaving a home noticeably better than you found it—clean, organized, calm, fresh, and welcoming.
