Duties/Responsibilities:

• Generates sales to customers for generator parts, service, rentals, and rebuilds on all generators make and models.
• Quotes services in the field and collaborate with all customer relations.
• Develop new customers in assigned territory while maintaining current accounts.
• Attending and working industry trade shows and conferences to strengthen the company brand and develop customer relationships.
• Create and implement strategies for generator service and rental growth.
• Work closely with the Taylor Power System sales rep to develop a relationship with their customers to gain service opportunities.
• Incumbent is to provide a detailed call report to the Sudden Service Manager weekly to discuss customer concerns and demands in the field.
• Maintains and submits accurate and timely expense reports.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of computers
• Excellent communication skills
• Possess tact and diplomacy with customer base and peers.
• Incumbents must have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record, since employees will be driving company owned vehicles and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
• Incumbents will be required on occasion to stay overnight at out-of-town locations.

Education and Experience:

• High School Education or GED equivalent
• Sales experience preferred.
