Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicate with the supervisor to pull rebuild kits and cores for the mechanics
- Help with steam cleaning and organizing wash rack, putting transmission core on the shelf.
- Drain engine cores for return
- Pull parts for mechanics and prepare transmissions for shipment, will have the opportunity to learn how to weld.
- Clean and organize parts rack, etc
- Learn the rebuilding side of the transmission.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Three years of job experience or equivalent in demonstrated experience and ability
- Operate equipment such as a forklift, overhead crane, cherry picker, etc.
- Basic Computer Skills
- Job requires stooping, bending, climbing, and capability of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
