Occupational Therapist
Sudbury Public Schools is seeking an Occupational Therapist to service students in grades K-5 in Sudbury. Position is district-wide, so work in other locations may be required.
Must be very knowledgeable about the special education process and school-based therapy. Successful candidate will work collaboratively with the school-based team to provide direct, individual and group therapy, assessments, and consultation.
Candidates must have:
•experience with a wide range of disabilities
•experience in a public school setting
•knowledge of sensory integration
•special education assessment experience
•ability to work with a team
•experience developing IEP goals, objectives and progress reports
•license as an occupational therapist
Salary based on scale in OT/PT Employment Manual.
Step 1 - $66,000 to Step 20 - $116,856, plus COLA
Responsibilities:
· Providing occupational therapy services in the preschool, elementary, middle school, and the Partner program (for students with communication disabilities/autism spectrum disorders)
· Collaborating with other team members in problem-solving and planning
·Engaging with parents as partners
Supervised by: Director of Student Services and Principals
Salary : $20,000 - $116,856
