Our client , a developer of scalable, reliable, and low-cost domestic solar and battery supply chains, is seeking a highly analytical and entrepreneurial Vice President of Corporate Finance to lead strategic financial initiatives. This role will be instrumental in identifying and executing acquisitions, structuring complex financing solutions, and expanding internal investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring deep transactional experience and a passion for clean energy
Role is based in their midtown Manhattan office
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation and execution of strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
- Structure and manage complex financing processes, including debt, equity, and project finance.
- Develop and assess internal investment opportunities to support growth and innovation.
- Drive deal structuring, negotiation, and execution across corporate and project-level transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with operational goals.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to inform financial strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance. MBA strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years in the finance sector and/or corporate finance group of a publicly traded company with at least 3 years in a corporate finance and/or M&A role at an investment bank.
- Sharp, analytical mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Exceptional financial modeling, technical, and presentation skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Proven experience managing financing processes across debt, equity, and project finance.
- Experience in utilities and renewables is a strong plus.
