What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sandwich Artist night shift position at Subway?
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to make high quality sandwiches, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable handling multiple tasks. Candidates should have experience with customer service, have reliable transportation, and be available weekends. Our Sandwich Maker will also be responsible for keeping the premises clean and tidy.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, explaining menu items, and handling payments via the POS system.
- Food Preparation: Slicing, prepping, and storing ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces) and assembling custom sandwiches, salads, or wraps to order.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Sanitizing utensils, cleaning workstations, cleaning the dining area, and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Restocking the line and storage areas to ensure ingredients are available throughout the shift.
- Operations: Following company policies, working in a fast-paced environment, and potentially training new team members.
