What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sandwich Artist Day Shift position at Subway?
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a passion for making high quality sandwiches, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable handling multiple tasks. Our Sandwich Maker will also be responsible for keeping the premises clean and tidy. Must have reliable transportation. must be available weekends.
Must Be At Least 16 yrs old.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, explaining menu items, and handling payments via the POS system.
- Food Preparation: Slicing, prepping, and storing ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces) and assembling custom sandwiches, salads, or wraps to order.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Sanitizing utensils, cleaning workstations, cleaning the dining area, and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Restocking the line and storage areas to ensure ingredients are available throughout the shift.
- Operations: Following company policies, working in a fast-paced environment, and potentially training new team members.
