Title: Civil Engineering Intern
Reports to: Designer, Senior Designer, or Engineer
Location: Flanders, Hackensack, or Wall, NJ
Salary Range: $22 – $24/hr, based on graduation year
Brief Description
A civil engineering intern assists and receives supervision from an assigned Designer, Senior Designer, or Engineer with various project-related tasks, which may include:
Technical Departments
Candidate can expect to work approximately 100% of their week in the Flanders, Hackensack, or Wall, NJ office. Company hours are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm.
This position generally works standard business hours, Monday through Friday. However, occasional site visits, field work, or business-related events may be scheduled outside of normal working hours. Flexibility in schedule is required to meet business and client needs.

- Base-mapping existing conditions within the limits of a given scope in AutoCAD.
- Mapping out all existing utilities for a given project.
- Site visits to verify existing conditions.
- Prepare and design construction plan sheets.
- Prepare traffic control plans for use in installation.
- Prepare permit applications/transmittal letters.

- Gas Utility
- Land Survey
- Landscape Architecture
- Water / Wastewater
