POSITION SUMMARY

Subaru Superstore of Chandler is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our team. The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, detailing, and preparing new, pre-owned, and customer vehicles while maintaining dealership quality standards.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Wash, dry, wax, and detail vehicle exteriors.

·       Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, dashboards, windows, and door panels.

·       Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and other exterior surfaces.

·       Apply appropriate cleaning and detailing products according to dealership standards.

·       Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for customer delivery and dealership display.

·       Detail customer vehicles as requested by the Service Department.

·       Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or concerns to management.

·       Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership.

·       Maintain a clean and organized detail area.

·       Properly maintain detailing equipment, tools, and supplies.

·       Follow dealership safety procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.

·       Work Environment:

May work indoors or outdoors and be exposed to vehicle traffic, varying temperatures, noise, and typical 

automotive workplace conditions. 

·       Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Previous automotive detailing or car wash experience preferred but not required.

·       Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

·       Strong attention to detail and quality.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

·       Reliable attendance and professional work habits.

·       Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
