Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation, restaurant management, and customer service. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including casual dining, fine dining, catering, and banquet services
- Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures
- Train, develop, and supervise staff members to maintain high standards of customer service and food safety
- Implement staff scheduling and shift management to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards across all departments
- Lead staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training & development initiatives
- Monitor budget adherence, control costs, and improve overall profitability
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with kitchen management to oversee food production, culinary quality, and kitchen safety protocols
- Lead efforts in hospitality management including bar operations, coffee service, catering events, and special functions
Experience
- Proven management experience within the food industry or restaurant environment; supervisory or assistant manager experience preferred
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and inventory management
- Experience managing staff training & development programs in a hospitality setting
- Knowledge of shift management, budgeting, food handling procedures, and restaurant operations
- Prior experience in casual dining, fine dining, catering, or banquet settings is advantageous
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence
