- Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing a welcoming and positive service experience.
- Assist customers with tire purchases, oil changes, routine maintenance, and other automotive service needs.
- Listen to customer concerns, assess service needs, and accurately document information on repair orders.
- Recommend appropriate maintenance services, tire options, and additional repairs based on vehicle needs and manufacturer recommendations.
- Prepare and explain accurate estimates for parts, labor, and services.
- Coordinate with service technicians to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor service progress, manage customer expectations, and provide timely updates on vehicle status and completion times.
- Review completed services with customers, explain charges, and process payments.
- Maintain organized repair orders and ensure accurate documentation of services performed.
- Build customer trust and loyalty through honest recommendations, clear communication, and exceptional service.
- Work closely with the service team to maintain an efficient workflow and achieve departmental goals.
- Minimum of 1 year of automotive Service Advisor experience required.
- Knowledge of automotive maintenance, tire products, and common vehicle service needs.
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
- Ability to confidently explain recommended services and repair estimates to customers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach.
- Comfortable using computers and automotive service software.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
