Accounting & Financial Management
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Complete month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and financial records
- Verify accuracy of invoices and accounting documents
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Reconcile records with internal departments, vendors, and customers
- Compile and prepare financial and operational reports
- Process semi-monthly payroll and special payroll cycles
- Manage payroll tax requirements
- Coordinate employee benefit deductions with Human Resources
- Train, supervise, and support accounting staff
- Ensure dealership accounting procedures are followed consistently
- Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes
- Maintain organized and compliant financial records
Required
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on dealership accounting experience
- Experience with payroll processing, financial statements, and general ledger management
- Working knowledge of general ledger and chart of accounts
- Strong understanding of financial statements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- High level of integrity, dependability, and professionalism
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds dealership software
