We are looking for an experienced sales manager who has built and led a team of people in a commission-based retail environment. This experience is a hard requirement.

At STU'S HOME IMPROVEMENT OUTLET, you'll run a showroom sales team selling high-ticket home improvement products to customers who walk in ready to buy — no lead-generation grind, just warm traffic and real deals to close. Your job is to turn good reps into great ones and hold the floor to a number, while your own earnings ride on the team you build.

If you've done this in furniture, automotive, home improvement, windows, flooring, or another high-ticket environment, this is a chance to take full ownership of a floor's performance — and be paid like it when your team delivers.

You run the day-to-day: setting clear expectations, coaching reps on engagement, presentation, follow-up, and closing, and holding people accountable to their numbers without killing the energy on the floor. You'll track activity, appointments, and results, spot where deals stall, and step into complex or high-value sales yourself when a rep needs backup. You'll also help hire, onboard, and develop the team, and shape the sales strategy that lifts the whole floor — not just the top performer.

The reps who work for you should get better every month. That's the job.

• 2 years selling high-ticket products or services (furniture, autos, appliances, windows and doors, flooring, roofing, remodeling, building materials, or similar)
• Management experience in a commission-based, retail environment REQUIRED
• Direct experience leading or managing a commission-based sales team, ideally in a high-ticket retail or showroom environment
• A track record of coaching reps, tracking performance, setting expectations, and getting a team to hit its goals
• A confident closer yourself — comfortable stepping into a high-value sale and modeling how it's done
• Organized enough to run multiple priorities and read the numbers, steady enough to lead by example
• Valid driver's license · authorized to work in the U.S. · able to work full-time onsite
