Work Flexibility: Field-based As an On-Site Specialist, you will leverage your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities to provide exceptional customer service in support of minimally invasive surgical procedures. You will assist in the operating room, utilizing your product knowledge and communication skills to enhance the performance of surgical equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and assembly of reusable surgical instruments in the Sterile Processing Department. What you will do: Provide clinical surgical support by managing all relevant equipment within the surgical environment, particularly Stryker Endoscopy products. Engage and collaborate with operating room, Sterile Processing Department, and biomedical teams to build positive relationships and drive effective support. Support healthcare professionals by understanding their unique challenges and ensuring they can focus on patient care without equipment-related concerns. Troubleshoot and repair Stryker Endoscopy equipment and other related surgical devices to ensure optimal functionality. Manage and maintain surgical equipment within the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring that items are cleaned, sterile, and ready for use. Adhere to all safety and regulatory protocols, including HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines. Ensure proper equipment assembly for immediate use in surgical procedures, meeting both technical and safety standards. Provide on-call support as required by the medical facility What you need: Required Qualifications: GED or High School Diploma required Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs continuously Remain standing or walking for extended periods of time Manage time effectively and exercise independent judgment and critical thinking Communicate clearly and work well with others, demonstrating strong interpersonal and organizational skills Work rotating shifts with a team, as required by the medical facility Adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations. HSPA Certification required within 6 months of start date, with timely yearly renewals thereafter Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, associate’s degree, or applicable medical certifications Experience in the operating room, with knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment Experience in the Sterile Processing Department (HSPA certification ideal) Knowledge of anatomy and surgical techniques Travel Percentage: 10% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
