Structured Trades is seeking experienced Commercial DX Pipefitters for HVAC projects in the San Antonio area. Candidates should have experience installing, brazing, and soldering copper refrigerant piping, with the ability to read blueprints, work independently, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Braze and solder copper refrigerant piping for commercial HVAC DX systems
- Install, fit, and support copper piping according to project specifications
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings
- Measure, cut, prepare, and assemble copper piping
- Pressure test piping systems and identify leaks
- Work safely with torches and brazing equipment
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate with foremen and other trades to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial HVAC piping experience
- Strong experience brazing and soldering copper refrigerant piping
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with commercial new construction projects
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required
