Strong Style is one of Ohio’s most respected MMA and fitness training centers — a 36,000 sq. ft facility offering Boxing, Kickboxing, MMA, Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Youth Programs, Strength Training, Personal Training, a fully-equipped fitness center, Sauna & Retail services. We’re a fast-growing brand with 2,600 active members and a strong presence in the community.
We’re looking to bring on a full-time Social Media & Marketing Manager who wants to immerse themselves in the gym environment and help elevate our brand, our storytelling, and our member experience.
Position Overview
We’re searching for a creative, organized, and self-driven marketing professional who will manage all daily content creation, social media, digital advertising, website management, and Shopify retail operations.
This is not a remote role — you’ll work directly inside our facility daily so you can stay connected with the programs, coaches, members, and energy of the gym.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow Strong Style’s Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and additional accounts.
- Plan and schedule daily posts, reels, stories, and engagement.
- Capture in-gym content (classes, coaches, events, behind-the-scenes).
- Write punchy captions and maintain a consistent brand voice.
- Respond to comments, messages, and community engagement.
Content Creation
- Produce basic photo/video content on a daily/weekly basis.
- Use Canva or similar tools to create graphics, stories, and ads.
- Coordinate larger, cinematic projects with our external videographer.
Digital Marketing & Website
- Manage Facebook/Instagram ads and retargeting campaigns.
- Update pages, announcements, and schedules on our website.
- Track analytics, conversions, and growth metrics.
Shopify & Retail
- Update product photos, descriptions, and inventory on Shopify.
- Assist with merchandise drops, pro shop launches, and promotions.
- Create product listings that match our Strong Style branding.
In-Gym Presence
- Be on the floor gathering content, talking to staff, and understanding programs.
- Capture member stories, coach highlights, community events, and training moments.
- Stay plugged into the culture so our marketing stays real — not generic.
Who We’re Looking For
- Someone who loves fitness, MMA, combat sports, or training culture.
- Strong writing, design, and basic editing skills.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Shopify, Canva, and social media strategy.
- Comfortable filming in the gym and interacting with members/coaches.
- A highly organized self-starter who can manage projects independently.
- Not afraid to get creative, try new things, and be adaptable.
