Role Description
The Patient Care Coordinator is a full-time, on-site position based primarily in Fairhope and Spanish Fort, Alabama.
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you'll often be the first smile our patients see and the first voice they hear. You'll play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience by welcoming patients, coordinating appointments, communicating with families, and helping our office run smoothly each day.
Working closely with our doctors, clinical team, and fellow front office teammates, you'll help ensure every patient visit is organized, efficient, and genuinely enjoyable.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients and families with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm.
- Answer incoming phone calls, texts, and emails while providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule, confirm, and adjust appointments to keep providers and patients on schedule.
- Coordinate patient flow between the front office and clinical team.
- Maintain accurate patient records and demographic information.
- Assist patients with general questions and help guide them through their orthodontic journey.
- Monitor daily schedules, help minimize wait times, and keep the office running efficiently.
- Support teammates and jump in wherever needed to create a seamless patient experience.
- Contribute to a positive, encouraging workplace culture every day.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Schedule & Travel
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday
- Typical schedule: 7:20 AM–4:45 PM (may vary slightly based on daily patient schedule)
- Reliable transportation required
- Primary work locations are Fairhope and Spanish Fort, with approximately two Fridays each month in Bay Minette or Foley.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to remain seated and standing for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members in a busy clinical environment.
